The Pile o' Shame

Decided to take an inventory of my Orcs & Goblin miniatures in order to find out exactly how much I've accumulated over the past 30 years or so and hopefully encourage me to actually finish painting the damn things. I'll be updating this blog with progress pics with a view to getting the whole lot put together and painted. To this end I've spent a not unpleasant weekend thumbing through assorted lead, tin and plastic, dividing them up into "projects", each with its own clear plastic storage box. All my bits are bagged, and I've now begun the process of converting my hand scrawled list into a spreadsheet. So, here's the list:

So a total of 507 models. But of course not all models are created equal, and a giant will obviously take longer to paint than a snotling. Therefore, I have assigned each a "workload" number based on its troop type, as follows:

Using the above, the total "workload" is 661. Based on the workload of my completed models, 71 I'm at 10.74% complete. Bit of a ways to go!
